Residential: Big Brother House

3-Big Brother House (No CC)

Welcome to the Big Brother House! I've tried to build a Big Brother house and here it is! This Big Brother house is the recreation of the Big Brother house of the Philippine Big Brother, "Pinoy Big Brother "

Looking down the street passing by, it gives you an impression of the house being a two story house. Actually the house is only one story which is further inside and the upper floor is where the control room is found, and where the crew and the hosts could take a rest. Also, adjacent to the house is a brick building. It was used as the "Academy" facade for the "Pinoy Dream Academy, but in reality it was actually where the rest of the production area of the Big Brother house is found. The whole production area was offlimits to the audiences so I just created rooms for that area so it wont look empty. I also added a set for Big Brother Online, it is a talkshow spinoff for the series, which is aired online on the series' website everynight.

The floor plan of this house was from the Season 7 house of the series, the latest season. The interior varies from each season, so in this house, I made it to have a "San Myshuno" vibe. It's theme was actually "Out in the City" Urban/Industrial Theme.

The house includes:

  • Kitchen and Dining Area - where your sims eat and cook meals.
  • Living Area - where your sims could gather whenever there are announcements, nominations and evictions. They could also spend their time there if they feel lazy.
  • Bedrooms - There are two bedrooms in this house, a blue one and a pink one. In the real Pinoy Big Brother house, there are bedrooms for the guys and the bedroom for the girls, so I tried to follow it too, but you can choose which room your sim should sleep in if you want.
  • Bathroom and Toilet - the Bathroom and Toilet are separate adjacent rooms in the house. It was basic unlike in Season 2 and you can't enter if someone is inside.
  • Diary Room - The Diary Room is a place for the housemates to talk to big brother. I don't know if it has a use in the sims but I included it to make the house more realistic.
  • The Storage Room - It's where the food supply is being stored and delivered to the housemates.
  • The Garden & Pool Area - It is where they could spend their time outside. It has a huge swimming pool. It was added in PBBTeen Season 2 replacing the old smaller pool. Housemates also perform their challenges in that pool if the challenge is related to swimming, floating or other water related tasks.
  • The Activity Area - This is a special place for the housemates to do their challenges and their tasks.
  • The HOH Room - I just added an HOH Room in the house, there's no HOH Room in Season 7 and that room was actually just a spare room, they only used it once so I just transformed it to HOH Room.

 Note
- This build doesn't have any CC.

- There are two entrance doors to the main house, the door near the Diary Room and the Gate/Door in the Garden. I actually used the gates in the Garden because it is used as the entry door to Big Brother House, it is also the door they use when an evicted housemate is leaving because it leads to the Eviction Hall next door, but since there's no eviction hall next door, its up to you if you which doors you'll use as the entry/exit door.

- This build is placed in a 64 x 64 lot

- You can change the floor plan of the house or renovate it if you want to, and I would love to see your renovations   If you want to use this house on your challenge, I would love to read or watch as well so you can share it to me

Fun fact: There's an empty area near the Activity Area and the Kitchen. The reason for that is because in Seasons 3 and 4, the show had two separate houses. The activity area actually became the garden area for the second house in Season 3. So if you want to renovate the house and include a second separate house, you can use that area.
